In lesson time

be on time
-
be prepared – all lesson materials, homework diary ready on desk

be respectful – of the teacher and fellow students.
o NO calling out or talking while a teacher (or another student) is talking – raise your hand when you want to speak
o NO interfering with another student’s work or property.
o NO cursing or using inappropriate language.
o Stay in your seat
o Only do work as directed by the teacher (no homework for another subject!)
and:

leave coats/hats and scarves outside of the classroom

do not eat or drink in lesson time (except water in a clear bottle)

switch off and put away MP3’s and mobile phones (not left on desks)

keep your classroom room tidy – litter in the bin; the book shelves and cupboards are not your personal storage

never write on the white board – except under teacher direction!
Outside lesson time (as well!)
Behave sensibly.
- only your mentor group in your ‘home’ room
- chewing gum is not allowed inside the building
- do not change or damage information on the noticeboards
- do not run inside the building
- sit on chairs not desks, tables or radiators
- clear up and keep your school clean! Food and wrappings must be placed in the bins
- no food or drink in the computer rooms
